Permanent Magnets Ltd consolidated sales down 4.97% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit eased 4.76% As on : 04-Aug-26  18:37

Permanent Magnets Ltd share price gained 1.97% to Rs 856.8. The Company's net profit slipped by 4.76% to Rs 3.8 crore, while revenue from operations softened by 4.97% to Rs 63.23 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Other Electrical Equipment industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.26 lakh crore, easing 4.71%. It has marginally improved by 3.14% over last one week and gained upto 3.77% in last one month while the market capitalization of Permanent Magnets Ltd has improved by 1.22% and 8.85% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Permanent Magnets Ltd stood at Rs 5.99 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 30.91% year-on-year, and heading higher 11.96% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 10 crore, rising 6.24% YoY and jumping 35.13% sequentially. Total expenses reduced by 10.25% to Rs 55.8 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 35.51 crore, posting a minor increase of 0.51% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 4.49 crore, inching up 6.65% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 10.33% to Rs 226.24 crore, while net profit eased 6.22% to Rs 14.77 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 2837% to Rs 30.62 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 7.80% to Rs 22.39 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 17.59 crore in FY26, as against Rs 38.1 crore in FY25. Permanent Magnets Ltd plunged by 8.53% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.94% during the same period.
